Digivolution Chart - Leafmon by Chameleon-Veil Digivolution Chart - Leafmon by Chameleon-Veil
For a personal project to categorize the Digimon in evolution charts. All evolutions are straight lines, where the Digimon evolve through normal means, or through Spirit Digivolution.

This one is Leafmon, who evolves into powerful lines of nature-based cyborgs!

Leafmon -> Minomon -> Wormmon / Monmon
Wormmon -> Stingmon -> Dinobeemon -> GranKuwagamon
Wormmon -> Snimon -> Jewelbeemon -> Fujinmon
Monmon -> Hookmon -> Armormon -> Suijinmon
Monmon -> (Spirit Evolution) Arbormon -> Petaldramon -> AncientTroiamon

UPDATE : Wormmon's second champion form is no longer SandYanmamon. Wormmon's lines from Ultimate up have been switched for now.

Made in Photoshop CS4.

I actually liked Monmon's mega as Canondramon but this evolution chart is still pretty good

I like Brachiomon as Cannondramon's prevo meself. o3o Dinosaurs into dinosaurs and whatnot. Not gonna deny that it works for Assaultmon, though.

but hey I also saw another chart of Brachiomon that ranges to another mega form
I dont remember the name though.  But eh, anything that goes after Assaultmon
is cool as long as it matches his features :U

It was probably Plesiomon. People like to have Plesiomon come from Brachiomon because they're both classified as Plesiosaur Digimon in Japan.

Brachiomon and Gomamon together would fit more if their next digivolution is Plesiomon

Where did that picture of the red Hookmon come from? Did you make that?
(also I came up with a very sensible like for Suijinmon that I'm super proud of, though it wasn't easy)

The red Hookmon? TBH I can't completley recall; either I got it from Wikimon or DMA, or more likely, I just photoshopped it myself. I do that from time to time as it suits the mon (I did that with a lot of the subspecies, for instance, since a lot of the 'official' bandai arts that most people use for them are improperly colored).

Hey, Chameleon-Veil, guess what?! I think we may finally have a new Mega / Ultimate form for Monmon that Digivolves from Armormon; behold: Gundramon!

Oh yeah haha I saw that guy. I didn't even think about Monmon's line for him, that's a good observation. o3o Personally I think Suijinmon still works pretty well, but that one's also quite good.

Yeah I know, but I tried to keep the spirit of the DW3 evolutions in terms of keeping their weapon specializations throughout. o3o In any case, Cannondramon seems to me like it makes more sense as an evolution of Brachiomon... I mean, it's a big'ole sauropod with the same skin color, right? Made sense to me... *shrug*

Whatever floats your boat. o3o It's not like Digimon isn't open-ended.

I love your evolutions charts.
But, I never saw the difference between Paildramon and Dinobeemon. They look same to me.

Thanks man. :3

Really? That's odd, I can see plenty of differences.
Namely, they're made of the opposite parts. Any parts from Stingmon and ExVeemon that didn't go on Paildramon get stuck onto DinoBeemon, apparently. He's like a reverse and stuff. *shrug*

Hey, you're right. I didn't look carefully. ^^;
Dinobeemon is one of digimon where creators weren't imaginative.

Naw, I disagree; see, even though he's just a mishmash, I think the fact that they used the leftover parts from Paildramon to make another Digimon is in itself pretty creative. Its CONCEPT is what's creative here to me, and that's enough to justify his design.

Yeah, I know about him, and some people might do that evolution. I like to do the earliest established evolutions for Digimon (unless they've been concretely overwritten elsewhere), so I went with the Digimon World 3 line of Monmon -> Hookmon -> Assaultmon!

Why no Armormon -> Cannondramon? to be fair though, when first playing through Digimon World 3, I hadn't unlocked Monmon's Mega/Ultimate form by the end, and tough he evolved into Suijinmon to upon seeing him. To me, both Cannondramon and Suijinmon serve as Armormon's evolved forms, so I suppose it's just a matter of preferrence. I just answered my own question, didn't I?

Also, if you plan on doing Petitmon, that one's easy: Petitmon -> Babydmon -> Dracomon -> Coredramon (Green / Blue) -> Groundramon / Wingdramon -> Brakedramon / Slayerdramon / Examon, if you're willing to make an exception to your rule for once, that is. I cant think of an alternative evolution for Babydmon though, but then again, it's not mandatory, is it? Although I'd like to think it would end in Goldramon. Any ideas?

I think you did, heheh. Well, sort of.
Since I claim to be trying to make these 'official' I suppose it was just an executive decision of sorts. I like to pay homage to the original lines a Digimon appeared in, even if I don't portray that line exactly. For instance, Gabumon originally digivolved to Garurumon and Kabuterimon-- I kiiiiiinda referenced this by making Gabumon digivolve into a different horned Digimon, Drimogemon. With Monmon I wanted to keep the gun/ranged attacks theme, but I also wanted a Mega stage that just seems to fit better in general. Cannondramon is much more appropriate as Brachiomon's Mega, (given as it is that he looks like one with guns and armor attached) don't you think?

Oh, okay, I can respect that. It makes senese, but, what about UltimateBrachiomon? On the other hand, as we've said before, In Digimon, anything goes. As you proably guessed, I'm really looking forward to the Petitmon line next (arguably my favorite Digimon family of the new generation). I'm sorry if you don't take requests, since you didn't comment on it, but I just figured I'd try anyway.

UltimateBrachiomon is an X-Antibody Digimon, so I have him evolving from others who share that attribute. Triceramon-X is a good prevo for him IMO, and Volcdramon is sort of like an X-antibody version of Brachiomon, so I use those two.

Unfortunately I may not end up using Petitmamon, since we don't really have any official art or appearances for it beyond the manga they appear in (Next I think isn't it? Or was it V-Tamer?) However, I'll keep them in mind and perhaps try to find someplace to squeeze them in.

I'm not abject to requests if people want to see certain lines showing up faster, but I do have a pretty busy IRL schedule so progress will likely be slow. (Right now I'm working on charts for the Armor Digimon and the Rookie subspecies, and haven't gotten around to making them for X-Digimon or others with singular or unique lines like Keramon, Dracomon, and Lucemon yet.)

What did you want to suggest? I have a bit of a weird/complex system, but if something works with it, then I can try to keep it in mind.

No, I didn't mean Petitmamon of the manga, but Petitmon, the pre-evolution of Babydmon and Dracomon, and "ancestor" of all dragon type Digimon, who can ultimately evolve into either Brakedramon, Slayerdramon, or Examon.

Oh whoops I must have misunderstood! Sorry about that! :D

Yeah I might just do one chart with all the single-rookie lines, like Dracomon, Keramon, Lucemon, and so forth all in one big batch. I haven't started on that one either, though, I've mostly focused on the evo lines that branch more. x3

It'll be coming up eventually though, not to worry! :D
